SARS CoV-2 virus, a coronavirus detected in China in 2019, is the etiological agent of COVID 19, a pandemic that has generated a high impact in the world in terms of morbidity, mortality, socio-economic alterations and deterioration of the quality of life. life. Among the populations considered to be at high risk are pregnant people, a group in which a higher risk of severe forms, hospitalization and mortality have been observed.
Mass vaccination has proven to be the best strategy to reduce this impact. Having developed effective and safe vaccines, their use was recommended in all countries affected by the pandemic.
