Abstract

In July 2014 the Argentine Diabetes Society spread the news of the death of who for many years was Professor Rodríguez and for many more years simply Ricardo. It was hard news, deaths always are, but in this case he had the addition of having lost someone for whom he felt great affection and a debt of gratitude.
