Chronic Noncomunicable diseases (CNDs): Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity, Diabetes 2, Arterial Hypertension, Cardiovascular Diseases have become the main cause of global morbidity and mortality, in particular obesity, considered a global epidemic due to its high prevalence and greater severity in children and adolescents in developed and developing countries.
Based on Barker's hypothesis, epidemiological and experimental studies were developed, showing the relationship between intrauterine fetal stressors: maternal excess and deprivation of nutrients, addictions, emotional stress, environmental disruptors and the development of diseases in adulthood.
