Abstract

After a birth or an abortion, the motivation to use contraception may be high, and for those with limited access to a doctor, it may be a unique opportunity to address the need for contraception.

Added to this evidence is the need for access to social-health policies on sexual and reproductive health in a region where women still die from unplanned pregnancies, where there are short intergenic periods, historically high fertility rates and sustained structural poverty, where the “will” of women in some social groups, sometimes not infrequent, is subordinated to marital decisions and access to health care that shows delays . DIABETES, a global public health problem that is constantly increasing, with a population carrying risk factors who live without diagnosis, such as women of childbearing age, with rates of underdiagnosis associated with multifactoriality. At the same time, there is a need to facilitate access to family planning (sexual and reproductive rights). These are the reasons to “look” at toogynecological services and define institutional policies that guarantee improvements in access, care and rights.
