Abstract

Recent years have seen a sharp increase in the development of new technologies applied to type-1 diabetes. New apps help us manage it, and we have new ways of administering insulin and measuring glucose1.

Diabetes is the template for the self-managed pathology, since most decisions must be taken by the person with diabetes in “real time”. In that regard, technology poses invaluable help.
