Physical Activity Committee Diabetes, exercise and osteoarthromuscular disorders

This article summarizes the general and specific recommendations for people with diabetes who present osteoarthromuscular diseases. The aim was to provide health professionals with tools to indicate safe, effective and adapted physical exercise in their daily practice. A bibliographic search was carried out in Pubmed and on the websites of scientific entities and books. It was concluded that in people with diabetes with osteoarthromuscular diseases, exercises should be adapted to avoid further injuries.
