Abstract

Accompanying the great technological revolution of recent years, insulin infusers have been no exception. From their origins, in just over 50 years, these teams, which changed the lives of many people with diabetes and their families, have experienced different advances: better techniques for changing the reservoir and managing the infusion sets, bolus calculators that incorporate advanced functions or mechanical systems with rapid occlusion detection, among others.
