Abstract

Currently, peripheral vascular complications in diabetic patients involve serious complications ranging from limb amputations, such as major events, stroke and acute myocardial infarction. The approach is multidisciplinary, with the endovascular approach being relevant in vascular complications as well as vigorous pharmacological intervention that allows reducing risks. Critical ischemia is the worst vascular state of a patient that requires an urgent approach with different endovascular therapies as the first therapeutic strategy.
