Abstract

Symposium 7: Education in diabetes: the use of technology and the impact of COVID-19

Virtual education in times of change: “surviving vs living large”

Ever since the arrival of COVID-19 into our lives, we have been living times of change and adaptation. The activity of the virtual ecosystem of the Diabetes Argentinian Foundation cannot ignore this situation and its impact has resonated both in web participation and virtu-al classrooms. We will share the experience of the last few months and we will present the resources we have used to adapt and to keep providing services. Whether we will survive or endure this situation is a question that still has no answer; however, we make every effort to change this crisis into an opportunity to become a better person.
