Adherence to the eating plan
Lack of adherence to chronic disease treatments is a universal and real problem that affects their effectiveness and translates into worse health outcomes with a negative impact on health spending1.
The WHO defines it as follows: “It is the degree to which a patient's behavior, in relation to taking medication, following a diet or modifying lifestyle habits, conforms to the recommendations agreed with the Sanitary professional".
