Abstract

6 voices in 10 minutes: Recommendations for the use of technology in diabetes

The Innovation Committee of the Argentine Diabetes Society (SAD), a work group composed of professionals of different disciplines of the healthcare team that treats people with diabetes, updated SAD’s documents on recommendations for the use of advanced technology in the treatment of this pathology.

We understand “technology for diabetes” describes the hardware, the different devices, and the software that people with diabetes and the healthcare team use to help control the condition, from style and quality of life to blood glucose levels and parameters of metabolic control to time-in-range (TIR),  glycated haemoglobin (HbA1C) or glucose management indicator (GMI).
