X National Conference: objective achieved

Abstract

Friends and partners of the Argentine Diabetes Society: welcome to the X National Diabetes Conference, 100 years after the discovery of insulin, which takes place virtually, in the framework of a difficult health and epidemiological situation caused by the pandemic , and we hope that soon thanks to the vaccine we can meet again and embrace each other.

The National Day allows us to delve into a specific topic with the participation of distinguished national speakers and, on this occasion, international researchers on current issues.

For the first time, and in an innovative way, a multi-event with the seven chapters was generated in the same virtual platform that allowed us to reach the 24 provinces displaying different topics of interest to the partners, members of the health team and activities for the community. which shows that the mother entity has developed strong roots in our young people, capable of assuming places of relevance in national and international scenarios to always maintain high the scientific and human quality that our teachers bequeathed to us.
