It is an honor to address you in the framework of the XXI Argentine Diabetes Congress; I appreciate the trust placed in the Board of Directors that I preside, made up of professionals who selflessly provide their services to this Society that brings us together. This Congress, which takes place from October 24 to 26 at the Gran Hotel Provincial in the city of Mar del Plata, has been carefully planned both in the scientific aspect and in everything that makes its proper realization.
